·               In the last two years, I have transformed IT from a reactive dept to a proactive business partner. A few accomplishments include move to Hybrid Cloud model to meet our strategic initiatives, enhancing security by implementing next gen IPS and PA firewalls and SIEM product.

·               Design and implemented SDWAN solution to migrate 90 stores across USA and Canada. This solution reduces IT operational cost and improve IT SLA.

·               Designed & built a platform that handles the transactions for 1/6^th of the US population meeting 99.9% SLA’s.

·               Led the project for building data center for the Department of Defense, meeting the highest security standards of the US Federal Government that handles 55M customers, 30M transactions & 2PB of storage.

·               Consolidated data center from 800+ physical servers to 90 physical ESXi hosts using virtual technology and centralized storage, resulting in a streamlined backup process utilizing real time cloud solutions and thousands of dollars in realized ROI.

·               Led the efforts in streamlining build automation & platform architecture consolidation on Amazon EC2 & Azure Clouds with the teams spread across Asia, Europe & North America.

·               Patent Pending: Using Cloverleaf and Palo Alto VPN technology, developed a secure mechanism to transport PII and PHI data between McKesson/RelayHealth and EMR vendors. The solution successfully adapted by business result in greater customer satisfaction. The solution was submitted for Patent and waiting for approval.

·               Led Platform Engineering (IaaS, PaaS) for RelayHealth and CommonWell as we made the marketing term "Cloud"​ a reality (resilient, elastic, global scale, open-source). Role was expanded to encompass Cloud Services across McKesson. (E2E Cloud Product, Architecture, Engineering & Operations).

·               Developed and administered Enterprise security program, issue recommendations to executive team on cost effective options and protection for corporate data and IT assets.

·               Delivered significant increases in Production resilience and reliability via automation and e2e process management. Drove automation/orchestration and reduced product release pipeline/TTM by 7x.

·               Designed, implemented and tested complete Disaster Recovery facility in less than 12 months. Facility supports 100% capacity and was tested transactionally across all products and services with 100% success.

·               Deployed Akamai Terra Alta and Kona site defender to optimize application response time and enhance security.

·               Worked with ARIN to get new AS number and IP block for multiple datacenter and deployed new IP block for load balancing and seamless failover between multiple datacenter.

·               Worked with Information security team to meet compliance requirement including PCi, HIPPA and Fedramp.

·               Managed a team of 6 engineers, 500+ network devices including routers, switches, firewall, load balancer, WAN optimizer, Telecom and security devices.

·               Responsible for project plan, team resource assignments and project documents. Engaged in Risk Plan, Communications Plan and acceptance criteria.

·               Planed and implemented cost reduction initiative and save close to half million dollars in 2 years which is about 20% of total telecom budget.

·               Migrated legacy PRI connection to converged redundant SIP connection using Cisco Cube router. Terminate all remote site DID on central SIP link this provide us to consolidate billing from multiple vendor to one vendor and helps to negotiate better price model with provider.

·               Implemented Cisco IPCCX 7.0 to provide Customer care and IT helpdesk queue.

·               Deployed Video over IP solution using Tandberg and Polycom technology. Installed and configured VCS express VCS control and TMS, with MOVI client. 

·               Design implemented and migrated Old Data center network to new Data center from 6513 Core switch to Nexus 7K and 5K environment.
